Rules & Navigation Tips for Your Boat Trip

To ensure your trip is safe and enjoyable, we ask you to please observe the following guidelines:

General Rules ⚓

1. Private Use:

The boat is to be used only for private purposes or private rentals.

2. Regatta Areas & Events:

Sailing in areas designated for regattas or events is not permitted.

3. Respect Swimming Zones:

Driving in swimming zones is strictly prohibited. These areas are usually marked by buoys. If no buoys are present, a coastal strip of 200 meters width is considered a swimming zone.

4. Access to Open Sea:

In unmarked areas, you may only navigate perpendicular to the coast and at a speed of maximum 3 knots.

5. Daylight Use Only:

Trips may only be taken during daylight hours – no boating after dark.

6. Good Weather Only:

Please only operate the boat in good visibility and stable weather conditions.

7. No Towing:

Other boats or floating objects may not be towed – except in emergencies.

Important Navigation Tips

8. Stay With The Boat:

Always stay close to the boat and do not swim to shore.

9. Keep Harbor Entrances Clear:

Do not navigate through access channels to harbors, anchoring zones, or areas with many boats – navigation is dangerous there.

10. Coastal Protection Zones:

Authorities have established 200-meter wide coastal zones to protect swimmers. In these zones, boating is either completely prohibited or only allowed at max. 3 knots, if no buoys are present.

11. Sports Boats in Swimming Zones:

In marked swimming zones, all traffic of sports and leisure boats is prohibited, including boats with sail or motor propulsion.

12. In Unmarked Coastal Sections:

The same rule applies here: The first 200 meters from the coast are considered a swimming zone. If you navigate in these areas, do so only perpendicular to the coast, very carefully and at less than 3 knots.

13. Respect Access Areas:

Anchoring is strictly prohibited in entrances to harbors, bays or beaches (if marked) as well as within swimming zones.

💙 Please adhere to these rules – for your own safety and that of everyone else on the water and at the beach. We thank you for your consideration and wish you a safe and relaxing time aboard!
